What is the Purpose of Schools?       The purpose of schools is to allow kids to have the opportunity to learn, comprehend, and set goals in a safe and healthy environment. This allows kids to make mistakes and learn from them in a non-judgemental setting. Think about this ... Does school actually help your kids out in the real world? I would have to say yes, and for two reasons ... For one, if a student wants to go get a degree and stay in school, then I would say that school did help them in the real world, because they're going to take off with the career they majored in. My second reasoning, schools can also help young adults realize that getting a degree is not for everyone. Yes, it's good to see kids go off to college, but at the same time, they have a choice of what they want to do in this world. Not everything needs a degree, but it's always good to have a back up plan.      Who are marginalized students in schools and what do they need from our school system?
